Recent Church Grant Recipient

Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mims, FL and  St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bradford, PA are the recent winners of the Society’s Church Grant Program.  The entry for Holy Spirit Catholic Church was submitted by Society member Patricia Cohen, also a resident of Mims.  She is a member of Holy Spirit parish where Rev. Andrew Wojtan serves as pastor.  The parish will use the Grant toward new flooring for the Church Hall and for updating the kitchen.

The entry for St. Bernard Catholic Church was submitted by Society member Daniel Kloss, a resident of Camp Hill, PA. He is a parish member at St. Bernard where Rev. Leo Gallina serves as Pastor. The parish will use the grant toward new sidewalks and a handicap-accessible restroom.

The Society congratulates  Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Patricia Cohen and St. Bernard Catholic Church and Daniel Kloss.

We are now accepting new applications for this year’s drawings.  In 2008, the Society will double this program’s winners.  Two winners will now be drawn on March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31, 2008.  Please submit your entry by listing the name, address and phone number of your parish church, the name of your pastor, and a brief description of the church project that you would like to nominate for the grant.  Send it, along with your own name, address and phone number to:  Catholic Holy Family Society, Church Grant Program, P.O.
