“That Others May See” Catholic Holy Family Society is very proud of the members who took the time to donate their old eyeglasses for the Society’s “That Others May See” project. This program accepts your donated prescription eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses and turns them over to the Lions Clubs International which recycles the old lenses to give to persons who cannot afford to buy their own glasses. From all of the people who donated their glasses during the past six months, three names were randomly selected by the Society. The names of the winners drawn on June 30, 2009, and their prizes are: 1st Prize Winner of $125.00 – Marcie Hacker, Albers, IL 2nd Prize Winner of $75.00 – Joan Anderson, Casper, WY 3rd Prize Winner of $50.00 – Ellen Viox, Cincinnati, OH Congratulations to these winners and to all who participated in this program.
